  1. What are the benefits of using ReCharge Powerbanks?

    Everyone lives hassle-free. You won’t need to worry about remembering to charge your smartphone and powerbank at night, forgetting to bring your powerbank whenever you leave your home, or trying to find a power socket (or a charging station) to charge your phone. Now you can rent a ready-to-use powerbank from ReCharge anytime and anywhere! Wohooooo… convenient, isn’t it? And the best part is you can rent and return the powerbank at any ReCharge Station nearest to you (use our ‘Find ReCharge’ feature in our Mobile App).
  2. Which devices can I charge with the ReCharge Powerbank?

    You can charge smartphones, tablets, cameras, speakers or any other mobile devices. Your devices just need to be compatible with one of the following charge connectors: Micro USB, USB-C, and Apple Lightning.
  3. Do I have to turn on the powerbank before I use it?

    You don’t have to, the ReCharge Powerbank will automatically start to charge once it is connected to your devices.
  4. How much power does a ReCharge Powerbank have?

    The battery capacity of the ReCharge Powerbank is 5.000 mAh with fast charging technology.
  5. How long does it take for my phone to be fully charged?

    It depends on your phone’s battery condition and capacity. However in general, If your battery percentage is lower than 10% when you start to charge, it will approximately take between 45 to 75 minutes to fully charge your phone.
App & Registration
  1. Can I rent the power bank without installing the App?

    Of course you can. Don't worry, you can still rent a powerbank without an application by clicking here. Makes it easier for you to #CegahLowbatt, right?
  2. How can I download the App?

    Simply download ReCharge mobile Application through:
    1. Google Play Store ( Android users) → Keyword : ReCharge Power on the go
    2. App Store (iOS users) → Keyword : ReCharge Power on the go
  3. How is the registration process? How long will it take for me to do the registration process?

    It’s super-easy. You only have to register your phone number and your email. It will only take 2 minutes of your time. Wow!
  4. Why didn’t I receive a SMS verification code?

    There are several reasons why you didn’t receive a verification code via SMS :
    1. Poor network coverage
    2. Server Timeout
    3. Try to move to a different location and request for another verification code.

When do I have to pay and how do I pay?

You can rent ReCharge power bank by topping up ReCharge balance first, can use online payment (ShopeePay, LinkAja, GoPay, OVO atau DANA) or by Card (BNI and BCA Virtual Account, Bank Mega, Mandiri, Permata, ATM Bersama and Credit Card).

Is there any Minimum ReCharge Top Up to rent powerbank?

You need to have Minimum ReCharge Top Up IDR 30,000 and Minimum ReCharge Balance IDR 5,000 to rent ReCharge Power Bank (for non-promo transaction) with details as below:

  1. Before renting a ReCharge Power Bank, you must first top-up a minimum of IDR 30,000
  2. This minimum top-up can still be used as usual to rent a ReCharge power bank.
  3. This minimum top-up cannot be withdrawn (non refundable) but can be used continuously until the balance runs out.
  4. If the minimum top up balance has run out, ReCharger must top-up again at least IDR 30,000 to be able to rent ReCharge Power Bank.
  5. You can top up your ReCharge balance via online payment through multiple payment options in the ReCharge application.
  6. Minimum balance is not applicable if you have purchased Paket #CegahLowbatt
How long can I keep the ReCharge Powerbanks?

You can immediately return the powerbank after using it because #BalikinCepatLebihHemat!

If you rent ReCharge power bank in ReCharge Station and haven't returned it for more than 24 hours, the excess time will be charged IDR 2,000/hour for the 1st-2rd hour, then IDR 4,000/hour for the 3th hour and forth with maximum IDR 30,000 for every 24 hour. You must return the power bank before you rent the new one.

Furthermore, if you rent a ReCharge power bank at events and haven't returned it for more than 24 hours, the excess time will be charged with different costs according to the event.

All of the schemes above are also applied for every promo transaction, including:

  • Transaction using promo codes
  • Other transactions that don’t deduct your ReCharge Balance for the first 24 hour
Why did my free rent from promo code disappear?

If your Free Rent disappears, it means that the usage period is over. But don’t worry! You can still rent a ReCharge power bank by doing top up to your ReCharge Balance.

Can I request a refund from my balance?

You are not able to request a refund. If you still have ReCharge Balance in your account, you can use it to rent ReCharge Powerbank so you can prevent low battery!

Where can I rent and return?

You can rent and return ReCharge Powerbank in any of the available ReCharge Stations near you. You can find the location of ReCharge Stations from the ReCharge App to find the nearest one to you. Please keep in mind that ReCharge Powerbank can’t be charged at home.

Cash Voucher Promo

Cash Voucher is a collaboration program between ReCharge and Merchants to provide cash voucher promos that you can exchange at F&B Outlets. With the following scheme:

  1. Rent ReCharge Powerbank 10x at any ReCharge Station

  2. Min rental 2 hours. Don't forget to return the Powerbank after borrowing

  3. The voucher will appear on your ReCharge Application

  4. Enter the store id and show the voucher code to the cashier, then exchange it

  5. The validity voucher is 14 days from the code is given

  6. The use of vouchers cannot be combined with other promos

  7. ReCharge reserves the right to change the terms of the voucher without prior notice

Troubleshooting

What should I do if there is a problem with my ReCharge App, ReCharge Powerbank, Top Up process or with ReCharge Station?

Please reach out to our Customer Support via WhatsApp at (+62) 89-9988-8889. You can also send us an email at support@recharge.id and our Customer Support team will be happy to assist you with your problem.

  1. What if I lost my ReCharge Powerbank?

    Please contact our Customer Support team about your loss and provide us with a detailed timeline of events. We will review the information you submitted and you will be fined IDR 100,000 to compensate ReCharge for the loss. In return, ReCharge will give you a 50% discount to rent our powerbank 3 times so you may continue to use our service

  2. Can I return the ReCharge Powerbank when it is damaged?

    It depends on the damage of the powerbank when returned. Some small scratches or slight dents are OK. However If the damage on the powerbank is major then you are unable to return it back to ReCharge Station, please contact our Customer Support team for further instructions.

Force Majeure

ReCharge shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, default or failure which is shown to be due entirely to causes beyond our control including but not limited to failure of information network equipment, connection failure, failure of computer, communication or other system, power breakdown, strikes, riots, fire, flood, windstorm, explosion, war, government actions, changes of laws, regulations, administrative provisions and other rules, orders of judicial or administrative authorities or acts of God.
